Mystic Island is a website maintained as a service for its visitors. By signing up for the site you are agreeing to the following in order to sign on to Mystic Island. If you are under the age of 18 please make sure you have your parent or guardian read and accept these terms for you.

MAKING MONEY

Mystic Island is a game and not a way to make money. Anything that you earn on this game (which includes Wytherian Pounds (Wp), avatars, trophies, pets or anything else) cannot be sold for real money.
Because there is little we can do to control this situation be aware that should you agree to purchase any Mystic Island virtual items (excluding items/services/merchandise that we officially sell) you are doing so at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for the results.

SITE CONTENT

All content on the site is copyright Mystic Island. We reserve the right to add/change/remove content as we see fit without notice. Our staff will do everything within its power to make sure that content on the site is safe, family friendly, and legal. Because players have the ability to display their own images and content in their message board signatures and on their profiles we cannot always guarantee this. However if inappropriate content is spotted it will be removed by staff immediately.

You are allowed to use Mystic Island images elsewhere. However, if you do use them on your own site, signature, blog or any other online or offline content, please ensure our copy write notice, Mystic Island 2006. All rights reserved. Used with permission appears wherever you have used it. Any web sites must have a link back to Mystic Island somewhere.

Directly linking to our images is not allowed. We have taken measures to prevent this and circumvention of these protections is strictly forbidden. This is because we have limits on our bandwidth and we want the site to run fast and be available to everyone at all times. If you want Mystic Island images on your site please save them to your own server.

ONLINE SAFETY
You should not give your password to anyone. Mystic Island staff will never ask for your password. If anyone claims to be staff and asks for your password do NOT give it to them. If you change your email address (in your Mystic Island registration info) make sure it is YOUR email address and no one else’s.
Hacking or scamming is strictly prohibited. Abusing bugs/errors in the site without reporting them to a member of staff can and will result in you getting exiled or your account being deleted.

Swearing or any bad language is not allowed in/on any part of the site. There is a block on most swear words, however if you do find a way around the swearing your account could be suspended. This site MUST remain safe for children at all times. There are other places you can go online if you need to flame or discuss adult topics.

Staff has the right to change your information and if anything is deemed to be inappropriate we will ask you to remove it. If you don’t we will remove it ourselves.

Users cannot post links to other sites. However if a link is found staff will remove it. What constitutes inappropriateness is left to our sole discretion.

In summation, Mystic-Island will do anything/everything within our power and ability to keep this a safe, family friendly environment. However, by agreeing to this TOS, you are agreeing that your membership is at your own risk. Please do your part to keep our community safe by respecting these terms.
